Christmas Paper Chains

Sep 8th

Start recycling your magazines now!  Children love making paper chains and the shop bought packs are so expensive – and some of them have those fiddly little tabs you have to peel off to stick the chains together – and then they often don’t!

Sit with your cuppa (wine) and cut old magazines up into about 3cm strips – approx 12cm long – you really don’t have to be accurate, the children wont care at all!  Start collecting all these strips in a box ready for a snowy (rainy) day near to Christmas.

Children love making paper chains, why not challenge them to see who can make the longest – how far around the house can it go?  And of course, safety first, hang your chains with care!
